Arsena, Tottenham, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool all will with ease...

How can you want or justify that in any way?

Its a shame they can'y get rid of the bond sheme.

Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
In a nutshell the club don't want Bondholders anymore and would like to discontinue the whole thing but can't for legal reasons. - can't blame them, not their idea

They are introducing an amended bond with 14 changes to the original. All designed to piss off the holders. - this is what has pissed you off

The view from the retractable seats is awful. The view from the back of the upper tier is worse. If you are a bondholder in the Alpari and think you can choose a similar seat at the OS, forget it. All those seats are reserved, like Wembley for corporate. - wouldn't be said at this stage even if true

8000 seats for away fans at OS. The rest for WHU fans but the current cat 1 type seats at £900 per season will be more like £1200 a season. - I should imagine season tickets would go up but there would still be an option of cheap tickets as per Wembley. I should also think it's 80000 for selective games not every game
Cheaper season tickets for all? Don't think so...

And the major plus? Fat boring cunt Johnson is fucking off!!

Johnson 9:36 Wed Sep 3
Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
No, most won't woody which will make the empty seats - which there might be due to segregation etc (why we could have more seats at Wembley) - look even more ridiculous.

I'll be 35 at the end of the last season at Upton Park, I'm going to get into playing VETS football I think or CRICKET on a Saturday.

I presume a lot of clubs will in the first season at least
And go home wearing We took the piss in the Olympic Stadium t-shirts

Are there any proper fans involved in this or is it just post 96ers who want to make sure the prawns are organic in the sandwiches?

motley crue 9:39 Wed Sep 3
Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
be plenty tourists wanting to go there and even the smaller prem clubs will probably bring a lot more away fans than usual because they'll want to go to the OS.

EHB - I think that they are using this system for the seat view:

Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
we all know this- and the closer we get to it the shittier it all seems.

We are the ONE club who has the chance to break the mold- to become to model that everyone aspires to.

Cheap tickets, loyal fans first etc

And what will we have - corporate outsourced shit ( i should know it, i've got a club wembley 10 year ticket..!) over priced seats, a shitty try-to-be-like-arsenal approach.

personally i couldnt give a fuck about 8k away tickets- if they pay their money and we stick them up in the worst part of the stadium I would love it. Bring one bring all

but please west ham look after your own.

Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
It was in the 66 suite at UP run by Angus ?, the old Arsenal bloke in charge of the move to the OS. Doesn't like or want Bholders. Likes corporate, boxes etc. Stated intent - for West Ham to have the best corporate entertaining and restaurants of all clubs in London. Concerned with growing a new corporate fan base. The old fan base - well he didn't seem bothered about them as long as the City folk turn up with their clients.

8,000 won't be enough will it?

Afterall Sullivan envisaged as many as 10,000 Wigan Athletic fans turning up.

We're missing a trick here.

It's funny how the club have such big expectations of the amount of travelling support from other clubs, whilst meanwhile.....

It's UP TO c.8000 for certain games, ie. the FA Cup. 15% and all that.

Pub Bigot 9:53 Wed Sep 3
Re: Last nights Bondholders meeting
The owners don't care about loyal core support. I think anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. This whole move is to brand West Ham to a wider audience and turn us into a like for like Arsenal.

Might as well enjoy whatever semblance of West Ham you enjoy now while you can because moving forward there won't be anything you traditionally liked about the club at the OS.
